I've driven and worked on a few of both.. I like the SR series engines, they are bullet proof and run nice, if you service them regularly.. they have a problem with the cam oil feeds blocking, but thats due to poor maintenance/servicing. The GTI-R's are a solid car, reliable aswell, would own one if I could afford the car let alone insurance. U13 SSS Bluebirds are nice cars too, especially the Attessa 4WD turbo versions, but are rare. I'm not a big fan on looks aslong as its tidy.

I thought they both handled good :/

Hehe I prefer the GTi... well actually my GTi over the GTiR's :) but then again my GTi isn't exactly standard :D
