Handmade V12 engine model

Postby rolla_fxgt » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:13 am

Wow is all i can say,
Its a hand made working V12 engine made entirely out of paper, goes at about 13.5 rpm. here's the link http://www.autoblog.com/2008/01/24/origasmic-model-v12-engine-made-from-paper/

And you can have your own for only $95 Canadian plus postage, some assembly required
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983

A WORKING engine made out of paper??

Last time I checked, paper and fire didn't get on very well
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

eh?!
I'm not sure I understand the idea.

Why would anyone want that?

I mean if it was a model of a lambo v12 and you were a lambo fan(for some reason), then yeah, I'd understand it, but as it is, whoop de do.

personally this one here I find a bit cooler.

I love the fact it costs you $95, and being origami they proberly send you 1978 flat sheets of paper, and a 600 page manual on how to turn all these pieces of paper into an engine.

The mini blown V8 that runs on nitromethane is pretty damn cool, even has that angry V8 note that the big drag cars have. Would be such a wicked motor for a RC car
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!
