Nicely done. There were a lot of very quick cars there, anything slower than 10s was starting to look quite slow.

Here is a not too flash vid of the Celica:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ie9Z0X1PPbc

It looks very very very stable, and went insanely quick considering how crap it was running. It looks like a stunningly engineered car, though I suspect it will have to try and make the most of the time before Heat Treatments get theirs going.

I found the commentator at Meremere quite funny I bet he won't be taking the piss when the car cracks into the 6s.

what are the specs of the Supra?

HP? Weight? Boost level? Other modifications?

I mean I could spend ages searching for it, but there will be stuff done that I'll miss, and I'm pretty sure that others would like to know as well.

or is all this sort of thing kept quiet?

Or he could be talking about the supre that this thread is about.

I'd be very interested as well.

According to his signature, its a 1.5JZ (2JZ bottom end, 1JZ head) running 20PSI boost, 488rwkw.

All the interior is intact, and he's running a C4 auto trans.

2jz, 3.2L RWD celica... I'm pretty sure that they never made a celica like that, especially in the zzt guise...

I do wonder why they bother calling them a car that they have little to do with, I mean atleast the r32 thing(the "fastest 4wd" one) had the right engine, and was originally an r32.

but I was actually meaning the original posters car.

Next on the list:

Bazda VS Audi Man! :D
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
