Hey im looking at doing an auto to manual conversion on my sprinter just wonder if anyone knows what gear box these have part number etc.

any C52 type gearbox from an AE91/AE92/AE100/AE101 etc etc will fit it

I think the C50 was the standard box for those, but as above any C series will fit.
Just remember you'll need a FE flywheel not a 4AGE one

any C series gearbox off an A-series (4A, 7A etc.) motor should bolt up, only other thing to worry about is that the starter motor mounts on the correct side (later model c-series boxes have starter ears on both sides)

cheers gus so now i will attemt to find a c50 box hmm if only i wanst a poor student off to the wreckers i go!........ Unless anyone has one they are willing to part with for some spear moneyz
