sad thing is those falcons will get those prices, a phase 3 GTHO sold for a mil aud last year.....

that one was a gtho phase 3 aswell, i agree the blue gt was overpriced, but people will definately pay that for that gtho, it was a pretty mint car though.

did you see those no reserve cars, an expected 18000 couldve got you a rolls limo

The bubble will burst sometime on those Falcons, just like it did on Ferraris in the early 90's. For a mil AUD I'd much rather buy a 288GTO and take my change as a F40 ;)

yeah

the thing is they are buying the history, not so much the car....
aussie muscle cars of some rarity or special interest are very very sought after.
aussie is big enough that they can ask a mil for an ex brock racer.
however here..... i doubt youd get a mil for an ex gentleman jim car. even if he was the better driver! :o

its back to the old "each to their own" thing
