mods delete all posts about this supposed cooling system. It works fine for many applications ... dont hate on it because its a craze that many other people adopted to be cool :P

In my opinion that car is great ! The only things that blow are the rollcage and the seat and that funny strut brace thing in the back .. other than that is mean and fairly priced for genuine 86.
Comment about turbo 4ag leaking oil is a bit off though

quit hating because you want it but cant afford it

its no worse than many a stock 86. after 20 odd years it only takes a few backyard specials to turn a mint car into a bit of a mess.

needs a bit of TLC thats all!

i'd be keen if i had 12k. fair price imo.

What happened to discussing this Trueno, and when did it become a argument to bonnetlift?

See I dislike this, we get a ligit conversation started about something and it gets shut down because somebody accuses us of flaming and arguing. Yes it's off topic but this topic is crap anyway - hey let's flame somebody else for putting a crap AE86 on trademe. Oh, but I forgot, all discussion of AE86s is sacred, sorry  .

Anywho, to lift bonnet, or not to lift?

And you have a right to shut down and erase appropriate debate because???

And your proof that it works is???

Come on everybody post up all that extensive scientifically derived data you have to prove that it works or doesn't, or just engage in rational debate as to why it should or shouldn't work. Aerodynamic theory says it's shouldn't work in most cases ;)

People were flaming and argueing and i thought it was going off topic.

AE86 isnt sacred, but something as piddly as bonnet lift?!?! man there are far more interesting things to discuss on the trueno then this. Especially for 2 pages.

I think its a very good concept, but very poorly executed.
The engine and gearbox is a great idea. Its a good power advantage without being silly and going overboard.
Fairly good looking replacement radiator (face value).
Exterior looks great.

Interior really needs a lot of work. Very rough.
As Malcolm pointed out, I wouldn't be too confident in the wiring. Remember the Falgoon's Candyman WRX?
As Warwick pointed out, cage is very poor. Bolt in, and not secured in the rear properly. Inside of the wheel arch is not a strong support point.
Battery relocation. If you were wanting to use this on the track at an events day, no scurtineer would let you on with that. I sure as hell wouldn't, and I wouldn't know half the shit you need to know to be a scrutineer!
Lastly, gearbox tunnel modification... Oh dear...
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Anyway, enough discussion about Falgoon's car(s), its all just speculation and BS until the man himself says something.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting

i love how all the strength has been taken out of the spot welds by putting rivets(probably alloy ones).

heres why it's rough for price: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... ey=1146941
sure not genuine AE86, but 3-4 times the car the one being bagged is.
