Dyno days?

Postby method » Tue Apr 01, 2008 12:32 pm

I understand torque performance don't do their dyno days anymore, they only have club dyno days?

I rung and thats what the lady at the reception told me.. Should have probably talked to robbin but oh well.

Just wondering where i can get my car dynoed and have the AF ratios checked out? Be good to have a power figure even though it wont be anything great :D

being rwd, you would be more than welcome to turn up to the suprafest dyno day
31st May
$50 per car, includes print out of power, torque, air/fuel and boost if applicable. A bbq lunch is also included.

Cheers

i still dont get why that is rwd only :? pretty much everyother dyno i've seen is either 4wd, or 2wd. 2wd ones, just turn the car around. but ah well, i might come for a looksy anyway.

Because us Supra people don't acknowledge FWD as being something that an actual real car can be.

its because of the way its set up. Im sure you could run fwd if you wanted. but you wouldnt have any fan and probably overheat.

I am thinking of doing a dyno day for our magwarehouse opening, will be at the end of the month but would need to have at least 6 cars lined up to make it worth while.

Oh thats a bit closer.

But not sure if i want to be dynoing at a opening day :P

My car isn't exactly great and im not expecting earth shattering power figures. Maybe in the 130 - 140kw region hehe. A standard jappa like a silvia would lay down better figures haha.

But yes, if you dont mind my car there i would be keen!

Just go to Kent and Speed Source in Warkworth.
Save blowing your engine up and go to someone who actually knows about tuning....

dyno days aren't about tuning anyway, and its no more dangerous for your engine than going for a blat up the oteha valley road onramp.

just a chance to jump on the dyno for a couple of runs, cheap, to see how much power you're making and how your A/F stacks up.
