Anyone with half a brain knows that bodies fill with water, so lifting chassis and body is a fantastic idea. Sure, body height is an issue for sidling a hill etc, but thats the wrong place to be driving anyway.
Getting diffs off the ground has and always will be a major issue, but more so is body clearance when it comes to sills and dropping in and out of rivers, holes and over rocks etc.
As for going to IFS, what? Are you stupid? Do you know ANYTHING about 4x4's? Independant suspension is NOT the way to go, it bites the big fat hairy kumera.
