I beg to differ.
I went from 205/40 to 205/45 and that improved substantially the ride quality (and made speedo slightly more accurate).

Depending on the vehicle , but generally the sport maxx is quiter
Assymetric is the way everything is going now , quiter , smoother , performance starts from 0 upwards , better cornering and longer lasting life span for the tyre , hence why for the change
