am also running the hilux leaf mounts, did anyone keep these or change over? just dont want to run into assembly problems

cheers shaun

make another one out of 6mm or i use 10mm plate nice and strong.just get the distances between the u bolts from the old plate and then work out centres of ubolts and drill clearance holes for the new u bolts and ull be away.as for leaf mounts depends what size the hole in them is other than that cant think of a reason why not.as long as they are the right distance apart hah

what about the shock mount? as this is on this bottom plate also? or are you talking about the steel cover that goes over the leaf and joins to bottom plate?

the ones terola done were for a ke25 - their shocks bolt to the diff i think. just weld some threaded rod or something onto the end of the plate.

as for the top one which goes over the leafs you should be able to get away with slotting those holes a bit. the ubolts i had for my hilux diff were the same width as my ke30 diff... :?

so the bottom plate you used for your 30 diff worked or the larger u bolts also? i guess i could bow them in, 30 u bots def dont fit over the lux diff
