Hey Everyone - it's time for another container to come over from Japan and the USA so once again we have some awesome specials to offer. This time round we are focusing large and heavy items shipping in from Japan and the USA. For large or heavy items, shipping to New Zealand will be about $40 each item - this includes bonnets, full body kits, 2m+ exhaust boxes, seats and so on! Because shipping is so cheap when we do this, the duty and GST paid on the low shipping cost further reduces overall costs. A $3000 suspension kit may be lowered in price by over $400!
As always we will have specials on every item, so just ask if it's not listed. So get your wish list together and ask me for a price on something - anything - we'll add it to the list!
Body Kits
Wald, HKS, Voltex, Varis, Seibon, Buddyclub, JUN, Amuse - you name it, we'll get it.
Coilovers
Shipping per coilover set regardless of weight should be $20, saving at least $240 on the price of each kit! Ask me (or tell me) what kits you want! HKS, Trust, Apexi, Toda, J's Racing, Spoon, Mugen..
Seats and Cages
Certain cages can be used in New Zealand so be sure to check first, but can weigh over 100kg depending on plates / bolts / number of bars! Try using EMS or FedUp for that! Seats are often over EMS limits for dimensions, so this is a perfect oppurtunity to grab some. Bride, TRD, Recaro to name a few.
Exhausts / Front Pipes
Generally these *must* come via ocean freight and this costs ~$350 per system. We budget $20 again for each system, so get asking! HKS Silent Hi Power (Best for legal limits), 5Zigen, Buddyclub, Kakimoto, Tanaba, Spoon, Mugen, J's Racing, Trust / Greddy, Blitz. Anything!
Carbon Hoods
A great weight saving part, removing weight up high on the chassis. Ganador, Varis, Voltex, Seibon, Buddyclub, Spoon, RE Amemiya, Amuse and more!
Brake Kits and Rotors
Often 12kg / set of rotors and 20+kg for a kit, the shipping really hurts on these! Project Mu, Greddy, Endless, J's Racing, Mugen, Spoon - just ask!
Wheels
This will tempt a few of you - 5Zigen wheels for example are $15 to ship! This reduces the wheel cost by up to 40%! GN+ / FN01R-C from $230 / wheel! Want other Japanese rims? Just ask!
Drivetrain Components
Clutch kits can weigh up to 18kg including HKS kits meaning shipping is a real hurdle with such items - over $200 normally. Total shipping cost per kit? About $20! HKS, TRD, Blitz, JUN, Exedy - you name it and we'll get it =]
Turbo / Turbo Kits / Superchargers
Kits especially weigh well over 20kg, with even the most basic weighing 25kg! And, with dump pipes included they are too big for traditional EMS shipping. We can quite easily reduce the price of these kits by 10 or 15% because of the savings in shipping!
Engines / Stroker Kits
Plain old heavy with a capital H! Engines need to be ocean freighted in, incuring port fees and transport fees on top - $500 mnimum! The cost to us? ~$50 an engine! Need a JUN Short block? Or an engine prepared by Tomei? Toda / JUN / HKS / Tomei stroker kit?
What about the Dates
Containers take 2 weeks to prepare, and we will sort that after this sale closes (so if you order on day 1 you will have to unfortunately wait until this closes), and shipping can take between 3-6 weeks, so the total from end of sale to arrival will be a minimum of 1 month to 2 months. Our last container was (silly) timed over Xmas and New Years (not smart) so this should certainly be more timely! All timings are estimates only =]
