did you guys see me in the dark blue soarer? traction not good, spun wheels to half track once. best of 13.0 on road rubber(255/50/16 toyo proxes RA1) Stalker's car looked the goods- nice.
quite a big day. left home(near palmy) at 4.20am, got home 9pm. 900 km driving.
the ute had a 4.0 badge on it,but came equipped from factory with the 2.7litre 4 cylinder petrol. he never popped the bonnet,so who knows what's under there.

yeh, just a tired old smallport with quads and mild cams. was pretty happy how well it got off the line. 2.09 was best 60ft. beating one of the fwd turbo starlets in the grudge races, was the highlight of the day. :D

I had a few issues with mine, running too rich i think after qikstarlies wideband decided it would crap out just as we started playing with the tune, wound boost up to 20 psi but probably running rich as. Had trouble getting 2nd gear, stupid syncro, and popped an intercooler pipe off as well at one stage. Still managed to run 4 13.1's and a 13.01@172km which is pretty good considering i was spinning all through 1st gear.

yeah man the KP was launching pretty well.

were you in that white GT loose unit? or the dark grey one?

i remember one of them looking pretty rapid, but dont remember which one now :?

that ep72 looked like it had potential too, but seemed like the driver had trouble getting it off the line cleanly.

yeah saw the soarer, from palmy! good shit... was cool to see a good group of toyotas out there.

Damn man!
You guys really don't have luck with your 4AGTEs!

Well, I just got back from four weeks in Malaysia and low and behold, my 4AGTE isn't running right. It was ok before I left and now any more than a light press on the throttle, it just cuts out and splutters. If I keep my foot in it, the turbo will eventually spool and once boosting, it goes fine. WTF!!!
It idles fine too.

I did a burnout lots of smoke and plenty of boost, when i hit second gear and started to take off it just made a pswchuuuu noise and that was it no more boost.

ill have to rebuild as there is no other turbo that will fit using my manifold and plumbing setup with out major $$ but ill try and get a bigger comp housing in there if i can.
I
m really over it right now and very close to saying F it and getting a drift car, but ill still have headaches so its gonna sit in the corner for a bit till i can be bothered with it 4 a while
