ok so iv got to get my escort out of the garage to pull my fx apart ... again

wen i last had to start it i had to replace starter solinoid, i also replaced condenser, and it ran i have started it a few times over the last couple years and it started 1st time but now for some reason it wont, spark, iv got 12v to the coil, and i tested the coil on my sisters car and it works fine, is there something else i i could test ?

how do you know its not sparking? earthing a sparkplug out somewhere?

if the coil is ok, it'll probably be something in the distributor. but having 12v feed at coil doesnt mean its working properly

ok sorted it haha ran a new wire form starter solenoid to coil thinking wire maybe goosed after cleaing plugs and blowing it out a bit, got it 2 run but had to make it run with the starter motor so i tried the old wire again and yeh now it runs so not sure y it wouldnt haha
