T3/T4 actually refers to the fact its a hybrid of wheels - not flanges. Most Garrett naming bases on which turbine wheel then compressor wheel family is being used, so with a T3/T4 (which is overly vague) you have a T3 turbine wheel of some sort and a T4 compressor wheel of some sort whacked together in some set of housings. Could be a 50a/r compressor cover and .63a/r turbine housing, could be anything which can be made to fit.
Maxing out below 260rwkw must be a pretty small T3/T4, though one of my mates had a Steve Murch built T3/T4 (not a random nasty) max out by 250rwkw at 18psi on his RB30. Pulled that off and put on a GT3582R and with a bit of tune fiddling it put out over 300kw on the same boost, albeit a little more lag.
The size isin't the main problem, the inlet temp heat is a real problem we are looking at next will be building cold air box etc at the air filter the air temp is 90 degrees.
