RWD Prop Shaft - Slip - which models have it?

Postby MrOizo » Thu Jun 19, 2008 11:55 pm

Does anyone know which RWD toyotas came with a slip mid length on the prop/tail shaft?

Looking for something toyota that has this slip system mid way down the shaft.

Preferably if i can find ones that have bolt holes 65-67mm spaced that would be awesome :)

like the pic below (the bottom one):

i'm not necessarily after one like the one in the pic but just something that has these slips down the shaft rather at the box itself.

I am going to PAP tomorrow so i will have a look at the estima's if they are even there.

cheers.

if the rubber bit is the part that connects to the gearbox a jellybean/estima would be your best shot.

Not relly sure what your planning on doing with it,

but most 4WD hilux and 4WD van stuff had that slip type joint at the front?

not sure if it would help, but the top shaft in the picture is very similar to my altezza drive shaft I have sitting here waiting to be shortened.

would depend on the bolt spacing as to which on to use. i know the 4wd liteace vans use a very similar spigot and bolt fitment as the T series rear end pinion flange.

best option would be solid front Hilux or Landcruiser
