The SADD people in dunedin drive one, so either they're really safe, or really sad

sorry couldn't help myself

But yeah seem to see more and more of these little as me & my girlfriend call them 'fridges', these Bb's, the Honda ones, the Mitsubishi ones (driven by asians), and the particularly styley Suzuki ones (mostly driven by old ladies)

edit: Quick google, think its the rumion?
edit 2: rumion seems to be corolla based rather than echo

 The fuel consumption in mine will already be shot, as it's got a blitz supercharger kit fitted to it  . But will be interesting to see which of the little cars, does start dominating the market 8O

Yeah I personally didn't mind how they drove, I mean I wouldn't be rushing to enter any trackdays in one  , but I felt they were definately nimble enough for what they are. I test drove one that had simply been lowered, using progressive coil springs and was rolling on 18's...it didn't seem to loose any acelleration (with the crazy low profile tyres, it basically came in at the same outside diameter as the stock wheels), but springs made no great impact on the handling. The one I have purchased has been lowered, but yet to findout if it is merely springs or on coilovers.
It's funny how they are being reffered to as "fridges", I had never really thought that...until now  . They are definately not a performance orientated vehicle, hence why I'm keeping a FR platform car aswell, but out of the little box cars (honda cappa's, SMX, mitsi Dingo's, etc....), I personally like the look of the Toyota bB the best. (I do like the new Suzuki Swift's, but out of my price range   )

The normal bB is not to my tastes but it looks ok. However WTF is up with the Open Deck version, looks like a refuge from the world of Trekkas

 Yeah the open deck/utility versions, are ridiculous. I had a dealer try talk me into one, as I mentioned I planned to use the bB as a promo/company car, but not only are they ugly, they totally destroy the interior room advantages of the normal bB :?

Has already been done by F-Tech Japan.
