how can i tell what year or gen my 5mge is in my 82 celica supra?

this is because it isnt the original engine and i was wondering what power rating it is etc

No real difference in the different motors, just 5hp (170-175)

only the american engines were slower, I'm assuming you didn't get your engine from there though.
