So whos the best place to deal with when it comes to having a roll cage made & fitted, in christchurch? ( will need to be motorsport + street legal )

Just entry level stuff basicly.. for a wee bit of a play.. building a 4agte in an AE111, but wont be looking for any masses of power, will be looking at a new car before that.

I would second that, Brent built the cage in my starlet and did an awesome job for reasonable money he also took care of all the paperwork etc and got my logbook, only took a couple of days too.

Brent also did the cage on my Celica rally car. He's very reasonably priced and would make a fantastic job for a club spec car in DOM. However for Moly I'd take it somewhere else. Not saying my Celica is a bad job, its just that Moly is VERY hard to work and I've been spoilt with my offroader and someone with huge TIG talent.
I do trust Brents work and considering his price he'll be seeing more of the Celica before it's debut (hopefully end of this year).

Awesome thanks guys... the only other Q i have, is how much preperation do they like you to do for them, before they take the car?

I have already removed the back seats, trims, carpets etc, but all the factory dash & centre console is still present, was hoping to keep the front section of the car as normal looking as possible.

Best to go and talk to who will be building the cage so then you both know exactly what bars will be going in and where. You'll also know then what to take out, what to leave in and how much cleaning up you'll need to do. The more you can do the cheaper it will be.

petes customs did the dage in my mates silvia made a pretty nice job and wasnt too expensive, thats where i was going to go for mine but id be keen to get a price off that brent guy too

Petes customs did my half cage in my old ae85 was $800 all up with 2 extra bars (over a standard 4 point) homologation and log book. i took it in fully striped and removed sound deadening where the cage mounts.

raycroft do BASIC full cages from $1100 im fairly sure
