Boot gas struts

Any one know of a good place to go to get these either regassed or just brand new ones ? do toyota still sell these new ?

auckland or some where that ships would be good

There is a company that does them, they charge about $60 per sturt I think, some times it is cheaper to go new, but they do it on the spot so it's money vs time.

I used to regas them here when i worked for the toyota dealer after school,

so that would be about 15 years ago now.

They still do them, and now that there are heaps of people around that do them they are a lot cheaper to regas, $25-30 each I think here now.

But new ones are not too badly priced either.

I picked up a couple of aftermarkets from BNT for the Soarer, was about $50ish for the pair but they're only little ones compared to the Corolla I imagine.

Theres a workshop behind the shell petrol station on the ellerslie-panmure highway, (the one by the speed camera/st johns) that can re-gas or replace them. Around $55 for replacement from memory

got the guys from gas strut services to do them, replaced with new ones and new mounts etc, came out took about a hour great service highly recommended
