have done and couldnt hear bugger all, back seat is to thick me thinks.....

the fuel tank is in the way... the tank is just behind the back seat.

Mmm yeah not such a good idea for that reason. I have heard of people removing the spacer plates under the parcel tray which allows more sound to get through..
