Holden Premier HX

Postby xsspeed » Wed Jul 30, 2008 4:09 pm

Just scored a 1977 HX Premier for free from mrs' uncle.

Anyone know much about them?

No V8 holden/ford falcodore bashing allowed.

This will be my next project...after the corolla

Yeap... their old :P

But seriously, sounds like a good score for free. What sort of condition is it in? Does it run? V8 or 6 cyl or no motor at all haha?

LOL

its got a 202, motor already out though, might have a 308 I can chuck in.

I have been planning this project for a while, so have plenty of idea's. All with readily available parts.

If anyone saw the Red HQ in NZV8 mag last month you have an idea what road I plan to go down. Either that or a f*** off ls2 with a blower hanging off, but thats some serious moolah right there.

I'm just from the thinking that you have two banks, you gotta put two really large turbos on there... or one funky "through the bonnet" piping, and mount one where the blower "should" go.

I have pretty much set on no through bonnet blower or pipes, doesn't do it for me looks wise.

Thats why its good that you can get CAPA blwer kits that hang off the side of the efi motors, there I go revealing to much...
