With all these things avaliable to us like Carfax, AA lemon check and VIR's......... I've been wondering if there are any similar tools based in japan that hold information about cars there before they were imported to NZ?
Probably a long shot but worth asking!

Not sure, but mine came with a full ownership and service record history.
Most of the Japanse websites Ive seen dont have an English version and translating the page using Google doesnt really work to well.
Even worse if you send an email in english trying to ask people a question.
