Going to Hamilton for the rally of NZ this weekend, Stace called the rock today for some competition and won pit passes and a meet and greet with Sebastian Loeb!!!!!

Cant wait 8)

Anyone else going? Hopefully he will let me drive his car haha

what day you guys coming up?
I've got thursday off so will drive down to hamilton to go to the shakedown.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

My brothers going up to follow it around and then stop in Rotorua for some mountainbiking on the way home.

Yeah I'm heading up, gonna follow the whole thing. First time in the 7 years I've been trying to go that I've actually made it. Somethings always come up to prevent it. (Including this year $800 for tyres two weeks before it happens.)

Absolutely amping for it. Head up from Levin tonight.

Oh yeah, also, congrats man.

Hey Ken, will txt/ring you when we are there, We get up there Friday morning, The passes are for the VIP area which include food and drink and entry to the mystery creek stages,

Wont be watching Sunday so you may be able to go into the VIP area :wink:

Also are you watching it on your lonesome Ken? Me, Stace and Leon are coming up in the Impreza (Dont tell Seb), We have a spare seat if you want to hang out with us between stages?

Thanks - due to work... got thursday off, in ham now, plan to go see shakedown day.
Saturday off also but late finish friday night and early start sunday not sure if I will stage hop near port waikato.
Thanks for the offers of seat/pass. probably won't be able to take it up.

Good on ya, You will thoroughly enjoy it, If you have watched our local guys do rallies, you will get a shock to see how much faster the top WRC guys go! ANd all the WRC cars sound the same, The subarus dont sound like subarus etc....

Damn lucky my jealous is raging!! Will be the first rally I've missed for years due to being in Dunners now. Normally go every year but since I've just moved down and I'm coming up in September anyway I won't be able to make the extra trip :cry:
Tip for successfull rally driving: Don't sink you're car in the first pond to catch your eye.
