Okay simple question?
Doing a sub/amp install for a mate in an alteza today and some 'master elictrician' told her she needs some chip otherwise the sterio will blow up.
Anyone have any info on the wiring in an alteza sounds like a crock of shit to me....
I have allot of electrical experiance and know what im doing so any help would be apreciated

some altezza's have a factory amp that needs to be bypassed, sorry i dont have much more information than that though

Don't need a chip.. load of bollocks.
Do need to line out converter if you plan on using RCAs for the signal to the amplifier though.
Does the car have the factory headunit or an aftermarket one?

Factory head unit and im pretty sure it has an amp hidding somwhere too ill take a few pics and let ya know!

Amp will be behind the glove box if it has one. Look at theback speaker surround. If it has Super live sound system there will be an amp. If not there won't.
