The distinction between race car and street car gets a bit hazy at times too...

i agree, a car is a car.

i also agree with Lith, the area between a street car and a race car is very grey. And its no different with drag racing either. I dont see any distinction for those who turn up to the drag strip with full interior or those who strip their car out.

i think as long as you have proof (i.e. timeslip for drags or official results sheet for your laptimes) then your time should stand for your class or track. no matter the car or its state.

A proper racercar is something that is trailered to the track a road car is something that is driven to and from and competes as well thats how I tell the difference between the two.

Would lumping all track times together be worthwhile though? Could do it if people want to

Yeah had I thought about it at the time, I would have and had another run...but effort expended vs kilowats gained doesnt really stack up

Do we want to keep these as a top 10 only?

Yep i've seen that happen to a few road cars over the years, touchwood it has'nt happend to me in the last 8 years I think the worst for me is having to drive home using the hand-brake as your actual brakes but other than that I've been very lucky.I guess preparation and preventive maintainence has alot to do with the luck and reliabilty I have had over the years.

I reckon 10 is enough else you might get a long list of factory figures. ie its only really going to be interesting to see the more modified ones in each class.

Just my 10c.

PS. Neo's got some uber truck torque goin on!?

How many people actually have dyno sheets tho? You might not even get 10 in each class.
