I'm not able to post this under the accom section as it is locked, but way back in the day when I organised the first megameet, which ironically was in Welly also, I sorted out accom at Camp Elsdon. I know the place is pretty run down and well, interesting to say the least, but the smaller rooms (sleeping about two from memory) and the communial living areas (esp the big lounge at the end of the corridor) worked out really well and everyone left happy as far as that went. The cost was also great, it worked out as about $15 pp/pn which is affordable for those out of towners that come down. You did need to book and pay a deposit in advance though, and this would only really be a good option if there were enough people to warrant it - we had the entire thing booked. You could probably give the guy a call there and sus out this and other options if you wanted too. Let me know if you need any other info etc about events and locations we used.

Anyone in welly got a spare seat I can grab for the weekend? Preferably someone thats staying at the organised accommodation to make things easy :P

Will of course help with fuel bill etc. If anyones interested in a semi-sane passenger let me know asap please 8)

Concur looks to be good, however prior engagements in Napier mean this is a non goer for me as well.
