3s-ge Beams specs, Cam Lift and Duration?

Postby Titties » Tue Dec 18, 2007 3:16 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows the standard Lift and Duration numbers for the 3S-GE in the SXE10 RS200 Altezza.
I've found it before but i've been looking for about 2hrs and can't find the numbers...

Been looking at some Toda items, Link below.

http://www.toda-racing.co.jp/en/product ... sg-02.html

Can still use VVT-i and standard springs, HOTT!!

Cheers, Mike

Factory lift is surprisingly big, measured them at 11.6mm IN and about 11mm EX, not sure on duration though, poss 248- 258ish? Cant get billets in NZ yet, only regrinds unless you go Toda etc. They nice items but restricted lift and rev range if staying with factory springs. Cost about $1200 pair for reprofiled ones. Brendan @ CSL cams hooked up mine and they primo as.

kk, i'll have to do some more research.
i found some specs, i'm sure they were about 9mm IN, 8mm EX.
but i can't find them again.

I'm going to measure mine at some point, maybe i have a mild cam in mine and thats why i've made such good power. We'll just have to wait and see...

Advertised duration is measuring no. of degrees cam opens valve.
"50 thou" is no. of degrees valve is open from 0.005 of lift after the valve opens until 0.005 inches before the valve is closed. Camshaft manufacturers use this measurement to compare 2 different camshafts more accurately than using Advertised specs.

Here is a spec sheet to backup any info we already had.
duration can also be changed via shimming.
