Marshals wanted for Daybreaker Rally - Oct 11th

Postby Truenotch » Wed Sep 24, 2008 2:11 pm

Hi all, just putting the call out to see if anyone here is interested in helping with the Daybreaker Rally this year.

We need block marshalls. What this involves is driving up a stage to an intersection or Spectator point, block the road and tape the intersection off.

You get fuel a fuel voucher to cover the travel and there is normally a free dinner included.

The date this year is October 11th which is a Saturday.

PM me if you are interested or call:

I just block marshalled for the Nelson Rally, was awesome, you get some unique views that no one else gets to see. Emma Gilmour was definitely going hardest! If you're free that weekend, do it!

Damnit. Postpone it just one week ok? I'm in Hamilton for a hunting dinner. Thing but really keen. Flick me a pm if you need anyone else for another date.

Yip Cheers for the gesture anyway! We will most likely need help for a hillclimb that is coming up.

Any idea on the dates. Would make myself available depending on the date.
