I get around 450-500 off a tank in my auto JZX91.

A person who owned a JZA80 non turbo manual and JZA80 turbo manual at the same time once told me they found the turbo model wasn't really any different for gas consumption, unless you boosted a lot/all the time.

Which makes sense really, as gas consumption is directly a by-product of how heavy your right foot is multiplied by how much power the engine makes.

If you're looking for a TT aristo, I'd say buy one, absolutely fantastic car, my only bitch about the JZS161 model is the ugly as shit dash setup. But from outside the car is absolute sex, and its ridiculous how they're just about as cheap as the JZS147 model now (but Toyota owners are brilliant at wanting ridiculous prices for older models).

Just don't expect it to handle or perform like an AE86 :P

Yup my manual TT gets about the same as 2jayzgte.

My tank is about 60L and costs $120 to fill. I would use a tank easily in a week.

our aristo has an 80l tank, took over $140 to fill it from not quite empty the other week, not doing that again for a while. however we drove it for almost a month before we really needed to put any back in it. around town, they're not too bad, just drive it off boost, and be sweet. just remember that in sequential, the first turbo spools really easily, anything over quarter throttle will result in positive pressure, haha. open road, just set cruise control, and uses naf all gas to go anywhere.

for a GE (not GTE) I used to be able to get about 550KM to less than 3/4 of a tank (manual gearbox) on open road driving.

As for driving around town...it just chews it so I've never tried counting how much.

Alright, well after seeing this i tested my fuel economy. And i got 282km to 40L 8O 8O. That worked out to be 7.05km/l. Now wtf is wrong with that!! It looks pretty terrible compared to everyone elses. Its a 2JZGE with auto. And at least half my driving it open road :?

I filled mine up, went to wellington and back which used most of it then kept topping it up $30 - $40 at a time, ended up putting in $250 (including initial fill) and its just clicked over 1000kms and fuel light is on again......

In saying that i live 10kms either side of a 50km zone so i do at least 20kms of open road driving every time i go out

That sounds about right... I get roughly 450kms from 60L.... 7.5km/L.

My 4AGTE got 90km with $40 of 98!!!
Now that's some bad fuel economy.

Time for a tune up.

At least my Blacktop AE92 will do a lot better.
