CALDINA GTT INFAMOUS WARPED MANAFOLD

Postby fyrdan » Wed Oct 08, 2008 10:33 am

my car has the infamous warped manifold, how long is it ok to keep running the car with it, and im thinking about going for the t3/t4 set up when i gather enough funds, will the car be able to handle this fine without changing to much? im only going to run low boost through the new set up, mayb 10 - 12, any advice on this would be much appreciated thanks

Anyone know if thats the same flange as gen 3 3SGTEs?? I have a feeling they are, but would be nice to confirm.

Really they are a Gen 3.5 engine. Same head just with a Cam angle sensor and a couple of other small differences

Yes - gen3(ST205) and gen4(ST215) both take same manifold. We also do a stainless manifold for gen3/4 as shown on our website.

the t3/t4 will cost more than you think did it to mine

need to take into consideration

turbo
manifold
wastegate
downpipe (may as well do the whole 3" while your at it)
fmic and piping (think you can get away with using the top mount snwtoy did this)
pod filter, fmic piping wont find with original airbox
batt to boot (to get better air flow for pod filter)

but on the bright side it makes quite a big difference, and yes the car will handle fine :)

if you cant do these things yourself pm postface him and his mate did this to my car and snowtoys car
