so far the only entrants will be the ones on the list.

please support the event by entering, coz if we dont get enough entrants, we wont be able to run it.

there'll be some prizes up for grabs also ;)

haha, sweet as, you've convinced me, I'll be asking my parents soon, I'm a bit slack so I'll probably have the answer in a couple of hours :)

Edit: I've asked, and they're (well, she's, really) still deciding, my Dad's gonna be over in Aussie, so it'll just be my mum, me, and my little brother. I'm trying to come for the whole weekend, but have to sort out accomodation, as mum + brother won't want to stay in a camp. If I do come, I'll meet up at the camp a little earlier on from when you're gonna leave to go to each event, because, I'm guessing we'll all be following someone who know's thier way around :)

So if numbers are looking short, I know a couple people who might be interested to help hit the 20 mark. They are good people, just not people that post on toyspeed :)

possibly. if i dont get the numbers i need then that may be an option. however i would like to give toyspeed members the most oppertunities to get in and have a go before offering it up to others.

if you have any doubt then you should be looking to aquire some tyres that are legal to run on. I dont have any issues turning people away who have cars that arent up to an acceptable standard, as at the end of the day, it is for YOUR safety.

Hey, I've been thinking, if my mum doesn't want to come, I'll come down for the whole weekend anyway, accomodation won't be expensive then as I could stay at the camp :), I'll just get her to pay for the events ;P

Edit: About what time will everyone be arriving at the camp on Friday?

I shall 90% be turning up, may even bring a friend and his Curren :p. Won't be participating though as I dunno if my suspension will be back to working order by then ;).

Will bring DSLR + Lenses to document however, might as well make myself useful! 8)

Not sure what time people will be arriving there, but don't forget to put your name down for accommodation so Distrb can book us all in

That doesn't really fly. There is a commitment from the organisers to booking the venue while being dependent on people entering... why don't you know if you are going to turn up or not?

Its a plan B for me as I'm not sure if I'll be in WGTN but I just thought if they did'nt have the numbers I'd just see if I could enter on the day.

hey, just wondering, since we need fire extinguishers, do we also need overalls/fire resistant suit?

yes, you will need 100% cotton overalls as a minimum, Go to any place like NZ safety, usually about $70-$100 depending on specials etc and check the tag to make sure they say 100% cotton, don't get polyester ones or blends, also once you get them sew the pockets up that go through to the inside of the overalls "typically known as "nut roasters" Also either sew some elastic or Velcro straps onto the arm and leg cuffs or tape them up with insulation tape etc on the day.
