Nope, it isn't running under a MSNZ permit, and as per first post, overalls not required.

Can't tell much about a helmet from a drawing of another helmet.

If anyone wants the added bit of safety of overalls, as I said previously I have a couple of pairs along with helmets that can be borrowed, as my race car is currently not at race-able condition.

Andrew, do you have a big fire extinguisher to sit at either end of the track just in case? Or do you want me to see if I can source some? Flags etc.?

Yea, I think I'll need a helmet, don't worry about overalls though.

I'll try to borrow one, but I'm pretty sure my brother won't lend me his.

no you dont need overalls.

we are not running under MSNZ permit.

fire extinguisher is a ruling that is being imposed by slipway themselves.

guru - i already have sorted the flags and extinguishers that you are thinking of.

You can have much fun with any car at an Auto-X. It all depends on the driver.

No harm in spectators turning up at that time if travelling with you, or by themselves, just means they will have to mill around with you guys till it kicks off.

Yes if running late you can still get in to the venue, however for those who have to check your car for entry arriving on time is prefered.

The times ive been up there the gate is usually just closed not locked if there is somthing happening. Usually theres drifting happening or theres bmx or motorcross happening up there. But they might lock the gate due to it being a private day

Never been locked, there's a few other houses and stuff out that way so its not JUST slipways entrance.

Just have to lift the chain over the post and your in, it is private property though so if you get told to bugger off or your there for no good reason I'd say you'd have to leave.
