A mate of mine brought me a 1/24th model of my AE86 for me so I could build it up and test out paint colours on that before I decide on what to actually paint my car.

This is what I managed to do....its average/ok to say it was my first attempt:
(dam glue ran on the lights, just need to tidy it up and its done)

I like the colour of this, and was thinking of painting my car like this now (maybe)

Of course, now im hooked on building these....so off shopping I go to get another AE to paint in some different colours to see what else is out there. Plus I now know what to do and what NOT to do

With the clear lights don't use the normal glue. Or it will do that.
I have done it on a few models before I found the right stuff to use, I use Testors clear parts cement & window maker.
Drys clear and doesn't melt the plastic. Not as strong and drys slowly but stops that problem.

Nice looking AE86.

Haha I think that in the original movie the burnt out Supra they turned up with showed a 2JZ-GE sitting in the engine bay as they were going on about turbos and what not....

Another reason why that movie is sh*t
