Yup thanks from me also, Although I had quite a full on weekend with other events, and was unable to attend the rest of the going ons - I had an absolute blast at the autocross and still wear a huge grin from it :D :D

From an organising perspective i'd like to single out to the following people for much thanks:

Mr Revhead - for organising the paintball and securing some great prizes from his work (Autolign)

Gurutasker - for organising the go-karts and also helping with safety audits and marshalling at the autocross

Angeltwin - for organising and running the Cryptic Rally

CAMB01 - for his part in the timing and start line control of the autocross.

Nat - for official timekeeping in the autocross.

Our sponsors - Driven Performance and Manawatu Toyota, for their generous donations towards the main prizes for the weekend. Thanks a million for your support!

All the effort put in by these people made the weekend a great success, it was a great team effort!

Also, a massive thankyou to all the people who turned up. some from near, many from far. It was great to meet a whole bunch of people who i'd seen post, but never actually met IRL (i would name you all, but i've met so many new people, i dont know if i can remember all the names!) and also to reacquaint with some faces from some time ago (BROZ, BzgBling etc). It was each and every one of you showing up that makes the effort put in by the people mentioned above worth it! I just hope that in the end every person that attended can take something away from the weekend that makes them want to attend the next MegaMeet, wherever it may be.

I'll make a concerted effort to get the results for all the events up tonight

Cheers
Andrew

Yeah it was an awesome weekend :)

Again, big thanks to all the organizers. I know you all put in a lot of work to make the events happen and it's much appreciated.

I'll definitely be coming to the next one. (even if it is in Christchurch )

Just got my prize today! very happy with it although I don't think it's going to be going in my car, I need the money more towards paying the car off first :(

(sorry about the poor picture quality, I couldn't find the camera, so had to use my phone)

anyway, huge thanks once again to driven performance for the prize and to everyone who helped set the weekend up.
