But I bet your Mira doesn't sound like this

Or Dual zone climate control 8)

You see I could go on and on and on and ....

I've never heard of a person driving a Mira called a "wanker"

Were you going downhill with a mobile tanker filling you up at the time?

Seriously though how much do you trust those on board computers? Do the Fill at the end, work out how many k's you have done and how many liters it took to fill back up to get a true reading. V8's can be surprisingly economical during open road driving though 8)

Thus it was realised why BMW drivers as B1NZ said above, are known for being wankers  mines better than yours etc

I'm suprised it uses less fuel than the prius I was in the other day tho.... which only manages ~24km/L :?

I was driving a work car the other day (mazda 6) and it gives a litres per 100km reading and updates the number rather quickly, high revs in first can get the consumption number over 50L per 100Km

Pulling the trailer with the racecar on it up the driveway I can get the old VS Calais up to about 75Ll/100km :D

TT 300ZX 5km/L FTW  <and that's taking it easy
MR2 certainly feels like an economy car after driving the ZX everyday.

Actually the onboard computer is pretty accurate. I've been through a few tanks already (I've put 3,500KM on the car in the first fortnight I've owned it)

And I have already admitted that I was cheating and I know there is no way I could consistantly get that.

As for the reasons BMW drivers are wankers. You've also got to realise that a lot of BMW drivers (at least the ones I know) do that for plain trolling purposes. You're branded a wanker immediately after taking possession of a BMW so why not have some fun with it :)
Brute force and ignorance always prevails.

Failure comes from too little brute force, or too little ignorance.

Jag XJS V12 ... steady 100kph, no fanging it, SH1 Wellington to Auckland, light traffic, about 600km.

120 litres of 98 octane.

Man, did that car suck (in every use of the word).

Same trip in a 5AFE (I think) Corolla, same speeds, less than 40 litres used, and it was WAY more comfortable.

Pommie piece of crap car.
