BUYING STUFF FROM NZ and SHIPPING OVERSEAS

Postby Hybridd » Thu Nov 13, 2008 5:41 pm

Hi Maties

I'd like to plan a holiday trip to NZ next year , The wife is keen so I'm half way there..haha.. :D

Whilst I'm there I'd like to purchase some unique components for my AE92 FXGT conversion and other miscellaneous Toyota Parts for my friends etc.

The parts may contain some Window glass , the doors , interior trim , maybe some nice Jap rims that we don't get in South Africa etc.

How would I go about this ?

Would I need to load this all in a container and ship ?

Where can I get costs on this so that I can save accordingly ?

Please help me with any info if you possibly can.

Many thanks in advance..

Unless you are planning on filling a container it will be very expensive as you will have to part hire a container.

My advice would be to contact shipping companies, most will not deal direct with the public but if you dont ask you wont know if they can or not.

Try Brandon at Cargo Express email is brandon@cargoex.co.nz He's a South African so he may be able to point you in the right direction if he can not help you directly.
