well I brought a ep82 turbo off a seller called DVSGLANZA....

he had only had one bad feedback where the sale didnt go thru for communication needs.

I got my turbo but the SOB :evil:

had welded up the internal wastegate and didnt tell me that on the auction, the photos didnt show that side of the turbo (i know why now), and he has now dropped all communication with me. And oif course in the auction he stated hes checked the seals its all been checked and its mint ready to go... now im nervous about the condition of the turbo as his word means squat

Now I have to spend a good two hours trying to die grind it all away go I dont have to fit an external and hopefully I might be able to use the one of my current badly oil eating turbo

I dont want to fit an external either its just a run about we may thrash later on...

first time I have been done on trade me but I can tell this guys name is Mikel and he works a transmission place in Hamilton.... I have the address as he was stupid enough to send the turbo from there... but hes really not worth the time.. just dont deal with him folks

Yeh I know him, not personally but did meet him at a Hams meet. He's a noobie on Starletcentral.

I think overall TradeMe is awesome.

Its when you deal with certain groups of people. For example car parts is something I tread carefully with as we all know how many munters are into cars. When selling parts (kp parts) I never let anyone come look "to see if I have what they need" :roll:

just gotta be careful or get a local person to do the deal to save problems.

yeah you might be right, but to be honest i basically only use TM for car parts, has always been pretty okay.

i guess my trouble is i trust people too easily, and so get angry when my (suddenly misplaced) trust is betrayed.

i bought an exaust , radiator and couple other bit from jacobs gtz , got my sister to pick them up but didnt have any issues , that was a couple weeks ago
