Caldina V8

Postby skoty » Fri Nov 21, 2008 3:22 pm

I remember seeing this 1uzfe powered rwd Caldina at the drags a few years back. Does anyone on these forums currently own it, tempted to buy. What do you guys think of it?

Would have thought it'd have a bit more in it than a 14.8 though, are those wagons quite heavy?

for that kinda economy i'd prefer a landcruiser 4.5 petrol, can buy them for the same price

Im guessing thats tonis car pedey? I hope they tidied the turbo setup up because it looked to be a bit more go than show.

V8 1UZ in a Caldina... Please!

Be like putting a 2JZGTE in a lifeless, base model Camry.

Who cares if its a 'sleeper'... fu<k-a-doodle-do, still a boring car that's too powerful for it's intended design.

Hahaha, but it's true in my perspective. Aren't forums about sharing opinions anyway? - makes it more entertaining....

I personally just don't see the advantage of putting a hefty amount of into a car like that. Ehh

Its more akin to the hotrodding style really, find a cheap shell and make it into something cool.
