ok this may have been asked before but is there such a thing? also seen somewhere that you can bolt a ae114 4wd system in with not to many probs. anyone know anything on the subject?

No such thing as a RWD one,

We made a RWD AE101 year back as a circuit car,
it's a massive job.

To install the 4wd running gear from a Ae114? could be a possibility,
but doubt it would be as simple as bolting it in, and the 4wd system's may not cope with decent power.

Surely the floor plan would be well different between models?

Dont know,
But i'd say the AE111 is a 2 door
and the 4wd's are 4 door,
so i would guess that they would be a mile different.

theres a levin shell on tm atm full panel primed with 90% complete cage and has had the floors cut ready to NS and rwd it... would be a good buy i evan looked at it.

random comment, if you look on you tube theres a vid of sum iraqi/saudi/not sure exatcly lol lads with an ae101 corolla with a 2jzgte, rwd set up an all drag spec doin a huge skid lol.

Firewall's gone, but what about the transmission tunnel and rear floor pan? Won't they have to be modified too?

I remember when I first got my Curren about asking re: using GT4 4WD gear, and they needed these changes just to insert- toyota mechanic said ball park figure was 5-6k, before getting the gear itself... this was years ago though...

If you look at the pics, the rear floor pan is gone and a section of floor where a gearbox would sit has been cut out as well.
