Yet another car gone missing in Lower Hutt today.

Stolen from Melling Train station carpark, time unknown. Anywhere from 8am-5pm.

White Toyota Caldina GTT
REGO E D C 8 7 9

Shes had the car literally 3 weeks, bought from RnB Toyota P-town

Unfortunately there isnt any pics.. went to quick.

It has an A/M front bumper, fibreglass, and no name 5 spoke wheels. Nothing really flash at all to be stolen. A shithouse pod filter attatched to a blue intake pipe. HUGE rear muffler.Thats it....

bugger, caldinas aren't commonly stolen cars either. i think thats the first time ive heard of one going walkabouts.

Not much on a caldina that makes it worth stealing. Probably taken for a joy ride...

no alarm unfortunatly.

One of those things we did say to get 1st if you absolutely MUST park at a railway station..

But you cant dwell on what you should have done i guess. Insurance is in the works. Unsure if she'd want it back. I know when i got my old Prelude back from being jacked i wasnt all that keen on it.

GF's car stereo was stolen from Melling a couple of months back, reported it to the police and they said "oh yeah there have been a lot lately"

Woulda thought they'd do something about it eh? :roll:

Have you reported it? Who knows, the police may have people of interest that they could check out.

Oh yeah and it was stolen during school holidays...just like it is now. Was definitely a spur of the moment thing because it was the first time we'd parked a car there in about a year.

not often caldinas get stolen for sure, but in saying that some asshole trying stealing ours, got as far as breaking passengers door lock, didnt get inside but need new door lock now :evil:

that kind of shit makes me so wild because you have no come back - especially random noob attempts to steal shit - at least do it properly and make it worth claiming insurance, instead of just putting me out of pocket.
