Repco branded tools are very decent quality and are made by stanley. Koken is still better though!

if ya buy snapon, lifetime warranty, so you can put all the extentions you want on the handle of your ratchet and crank away, then if it snaps anything just say "oh i was just trying to undo this bolt and it broke..." bingo, new one before you know it

After breaking 2 x 1/2" repco powerbars in one day on a hub nut (my own fault... 6' pipe) I went and got a $100 3/4" ratchet & socket set from supercheap... it's cool

I can't see the pipe trick lasting long on a cheap power bar somehow

you'd be surprised, my repco branded powerbar has been treated like $hite for a number of years in a commercial environment and subject to he pipe extension and is still going strong to this day

I snapped one, the best bit is ripco just gave me another one no questions asked!!

1/2" snapon ratchet and 1 meter long jack handle FTW.

with snap on, koken, britool, stahwille etc, if there is any sign of abuse, pipe marks on the handle etc they wont replace it

we use pipes on our tools all the time....never seen a scratch from a pipe on them, super hard metal? maybe our bar extension is just shit metal

Don't buy Repco powerbars, I doubt supercheap ones are good either.
I made a doughnut out a repco power bar (power built my ass).
If you are on cheap side and still want good powerbar, buy either teng or kingtony,
I have kingtony and it is more durable and is elastic (while repco one yields immediately) also they are not covered in stupid shiny chrome (which purpose is to hide imperfections and the fact that the thing will rust in no time, because of low chome content).
Repco sells chinese shit.
Although Teng and Kingtony made in Taiwan, one could argue Taiwan is not as bad as mainland China (or at least their quality control is better).

Oh and super cheap sells utter shit, I can bend with my bare hands their spanners.

I find the best spanners at the local market

Some toyota, some other brands upto 5mm thick, so they don't bend!

At a couple $$ a pop they are best value.

Repco tools are better quality than powerbuilt, teng and kingtony. And its not chinese. People just think this because it has "Repco"on it.
