Cars with a really small overflow bottle???

Postby 88gtz » Sun Dec 28, 2008 5:54 pm

Hey i need an overflow bottle for my Altezza however there is next to no room, does anyone know of any cars that had a rather small overflow bottle in them that i could source?

I know i could buy some crap stainless thing and make it work however i don't really want to do this mainly cause they look crap.

Prob end up hunting round some wreckers but a point in the right direction could def save me some time

I have one out of a ke70 wags that would just need a flush inside. Comes in standard off white dirty plastic  (i guess you could paint it or sand it back.)

200mm X 100mm X 85mm

PM me if you want it.

There will be a certain capacity you will need or it will overflow it and then suck back air which is not good for it.

I had to go the other way and find an xtra large one for my race car as I had that problem.

Anyone know what the capacity difference is in a standard altezza bottle between the full and empty mark?

Hmmm yeah didn't think about that.

There is no where to relocate it thats the problem, not mention that i don't even have a factory overflow bottle to suit my radiator

try one out of an ae110/ae111 corolla. they hang under the battery tray and have a thin neck which sticks up beside the battery

see NILPSI's pic on this thread to see one
