I think you would sit mid / front of the pack in the RX7 Jay.

Considering at manfeild the fastest car (Tony olivers S15) is cabable of 1.14's and the next few after that are 1:15-1:17ish in the turbo class. Then there are a large number doing 1:18's in the NA classes.

When are you thinking about entering? I was thinking of having a go at both of the March rounds. 14/15 at Taupo and 28/29th at Manfeild.

Would be cool to have a race against you in taupo :) .

Mehh, I do 1.24's in the MR2, so nothing to worry about.
It dosent really matter what your lap times are, 2/3 races are reverse handicap.

It is quite good to see that SS2000 has moved with the times as far as changing their rules goes.

I remember when I used to watch that class, it was exclusively the realm of any car that was running the biggest hand grenade 12A that they could get to hold together for a race

Just back from the taupo round, lots off carnage,I was turned around on the first corner by a evo, they have to run semi slicks and she seemed to think she could get around faster than us on our slicks, she understeered and buried it straight into my left hand rear wheel thank goodness, turned me around and left me sitting in the middle off the track with 32 cars trying to dodge me,Pissed me off as i qualified 10 in the rain out off 42 cars. The videos are on youtube, search grant te rito. They are uploaded but not up yet.

Set a lap time of 1.45.9 with me 135kw atw.
