Dyno Day - CANCELLED

Postby Lith » Wed Jan 07, 2009 10:08 am

Hi all,

I'm looking at possibly organising a dyno day with Chequered Flag on Saturday 7th February - just have to check that I will have the numbers. Is anyone keen?

Cheers,
Dan.

Yeah I could be keen depending on price, would be interesting to see what my gtz pulls on the CF dyno and see if its still making the same numbers as when it was tuned a few years ago.

Is CF dyno a rolling road, or hub dyno? I recall it being a hub dyno the last time I was there (about 5 or more years ago!)

I think usually $100 though there is a chance it could be $80, budget $100 :)

Sorry from experience I can't really count on "maybe"s, I will put your name down as definite if you are definite on it - it can make for an embarrassing day if I stop taking names because of having "the limit" then finding people never fully intended on showing up.

Sorry yeah, it is a hub dyno - this one can run 2 or 4wd. This one is less of a heart breaker than some out there.

Alas it doesn't make your car any faster haha. Will be relative to everyone else on the day, a couple of the cars may be eye openers though...

What motor is in it? I'd say most things should be able to, the only cars I've seen do under that were a couple of 4k powered things and a 1.2litre Mirage haha

Ok the day seems pretty well booked up now, this is the current list I have - please PM me if you think I've not got something right :)

Nish - R32 GTSt
Lith
Tursty - Series 7 RX7
Turbine - R33 GTS25t
Craig - R32 GTR
jakesae101 - AE85
Crux - Teg or Altezza
Dane - R32 GTST
EVLONE - Mazda Lantis
Slideways - AE92 Turbo
Chewy - Millennium Falcon
Munkvy - RS Legacy
Steve - Mazda someletterXsomenumber
