Have a 94 Supra motor and will be running a Link G4 Storm, DSR T3/T4 and Either a Driven Performance manifold or something similar. Im probably just going to run the standard injectors etc at first just to see how much I can get out of it befor trading up to bigger injectors.

The wonky over engine plenum and TB
The old distributor ignition which can cause issues when asking for power
The lower flowing oil pump
Much smaller market for head parts (Exhaust cam especially)
Your better off starting with a 2JZ-GTE.
If you are looking for a cheaper option look at a 1JZ-GTE head, oil pump and sensors on the 2JZ-GE block. That at least gets you a better platform for future parts. I will warn you though compression rises with a 1JZ head so you will need to do something about that.
