In all seriousness it depends what type of 4AGE, and B16A's are about on par with blacktops anyhow.

only issue with that is b16's are reliable as a 4age anyway.

it should be :
if you want reliability in a good looking car get something 4age powered.
if you want power and reliability in an ugly car get a b16a.

hahaha i only bust this question out because there was a rather big shpiel on nzhondas about it. The mods closed the thread.

They all say B16a, wanted to see if you'd all say 4age.

It's like I say, it's horses for courses, it's like asking what's better - turbo or v8 ... except we all know the answer to that is turbo 8)

B16 has more power, is at least as reliable and is more fun to drive if you're into fun driving... so not really much discussion to be had.

B16 head on a 4AGE block.

Waits for it.....
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

if your the kind of guy whos comfortable wearing a pink polo shirt on a night out, well then by all means buy a honda....

ahahahah! i knew this thread would turn into utter bullshit.

Here's what I think re: Mr Revhead's statement.

Honda's are, without a doubt, amazing cars. They are not "ricey" or "le ghey" or whatever whaterver *hate hate*. By the same token, Toyota are also amazing cars. MOST cars are in their respective rights.... disregard {insert korean car brand name here}.

The point is, asking a question about which is better is pointless, some guys like heineken, others like corona (wankwank ... sorry).

Anyways, sorry for dragging this tired old horse out again, just wanted to start a convo so I could get to the real point... wow this is turning into an essay.

ANYWAY, the real point I'm making is ... What is everybody's thoughts on the 2zz-ge engine compared to the b18cr engine??

no need to get all pissy! I'm sure you can see how I would think you were serious considering the number of honda haters around.

anyway, you are probably one of the most knowledgable people around, what are your thoughts on the 2zz-ge vs b18cr?

OH, and the guy who invented sarcasm was jewish, the guy who invented a joke was a frenchman called jacques

whats a b18cr in? the late type Rs?
cant say iv driven one, been in one though, not very standard.

not a fair comparison really..... the 2zzge's design is a bit milder than the integras engine

not really, havn't spent much time on this forum but have noticed a lot of people defer to you. Plus when I posted briefly a while back the advice you gave me was pretty good so I just assume you know what you're talking about. That and you're a mod, i'm sure that must mean something.

The b18cr is is the 1800cc type r integras, the later models have a 2.0L i-vtec ... i think *googles*

dude honestly, i read your thread and you got your answers on nzhondas. Search and work it out for yourself rather than having a go at people on here. Will your life really be that bad if you make your own mind up about something? IMO they are completely different engines - like most people on NZhondas, and now toyspeed have said.
