Statistics??

Postby fangsport » Wed Jan 14, 2009 10:43 pm

can anyone point me to a website that i can find out how many of a particular vehicle are still registered in NZ?

people on Trade Me often quote e.g. '1 of 5000 made, but 1 of 300 still one the road'

curious to know, as it will influence my descisions on how to tackle a future project.

have searched through LTSA, but cannot find the data i'm looking for.

Down the bottom of the stats page it says they do custom statistics, simple things are done free of charge, perhaps they will find out for you?

that doesnt surprise me with american cars
a lot of the american companys kept very good records on how many of various models were made.

i would start with searching the big clubs in the states, they often have direct access to the stats held by the maker

correct, Warrick, can find info from production records of both of the projects, the current one was really easy. but more wanting to know howmany are still registered (still in the system) in NZ.
BTW, it ain't no American car , far cooler than that 8)
