what are those Tube subs like? they have amps built in. i always used to think with a sub box you shouldnt mount your amp to it as they dont like the vibrations.

I won one ages ago from the Burger King comp, still havent used it though. Its still in its box. Will get round to installing it after I get a decent headunit I think. Keen to hear thoughts though.

From what I have read they aren't super powerful or anything, but thats not what I was after anyway. Just a bit of doof doof :D

hehe yea same here, the 6x9's do alright but want a bit more. let us know if you wanna sell it cheap :D

depends on what you are after really.

The small tube subs are fine for adding some low extension to your music. But generally they aren't super loud.

Mounting amps to subs is managable if the the box does not transfer energy from the sub to the amp.. aka resonance.

my mate had a 10 inch sb tube in his chrad, that thing was pritty insane, it was a high end long throw sub tho, got the entyer car shaking and your chest pounding pritty well
