What exactly makes it such a 'pos' car though?

It looks well done to me. Ignoring the fact its running hydros and has no reg/wof.

If they do get a 4age for it hopefully they won't waste there time with a redtop TVIS tho   Gimmie a 4k over that any day

The point is, it's sweet.

That's $&#$% sweet, someone taking a leaf out of a different scenes book and applying it to a car you normally wouldn't.

Fresh.

Reminds of like a miniature version of a GM G-body sedan on juice or something. Cool.

$&#$% it's just a KE70, it's not like someones gone and ruined a supremely awesome chassis or a rare car or anything. I think the price isn't overly unrealistic either, there's gotta be 5k tied up in the panel and paint if it's been done properly, 3k AT LEAST in the hydros and then the cost of a tidy KE70 on top of that.

Chortle. Most lowriders are older than KE70's.

And made of Navy battleship grade steel :P
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

yeah but you need something to charge the batteries!

not my cup of tea personally but can appreciate the time and effort that has gone into building something a bit different, from the pictures it looks pretty well done.

calling it a POS is a bit harsh!

not relly what im into but can see ita appeail..

y have a car you cant drive? umm its calld a show car, there are alot of butiful cars that never get driven on the road to keep them in mint condition..

and yeah ke70's are bult tough.
http://www.bebo.com/FlashBox.jsp?FlashBoxId=2997210746&
thats a mitzi merage with no widows, ecept the windscreen witch was held in with some scylicone (not verry well coz the gun was crap) and a bar in the middle from the floor to the roof...

so if that pece could handle it im sure a ke70 could.

(edit) that vid no longer works dammit, its just me doin a jump in the paddoc basher..

Is a car not designed to be a means of transportation??

it makes no sense to me at all to effectively waste countless thousands of dollars on something you cant use for anything other than a nice ornament sitting in your garage, and take out on the odd occasion to a show on the back of a trailer and win a trophy, whoop de doo 10-20k for a "best toyota" trophy.

WHO THE $&#$% CARES???
CAR SHOWS ARE THE ESSENSE OF GAYNESS

i dunno, its cool to see people enjoying their cars and trying different things. theres plenty of bad things about the show car scene, and cars that dont get driven is one of them - but theres always a few cool cars hidden away too.

That car is seriously cool , but it just needs and engine transplant , lexus v8 me thinks , just a little steep prici9ng for something unwarrented and rego'd 8)
There is no justification to call it a pos just cause it aint ur cup of tea , dont knock it until you've tried it 8)

who says it doesnt get driven ? i have seen it being driven, the pictures quite clearly show it out and about - the fact it has no wof reg etc could be down to the fact that the person who did the work didnt do it properly, or up to Cert spec,

its hardly a show car
