Caldina ST215w Air-con

With this crappy humid weather lately it's no good just having the windows down and sunroof open. Just get blasted with hot air!

Not sure about anyone elses Caldina but I don't think my air-con unit is working properly. I set it to as cold as it can go and put the a/c on and all I get is warm air. I leave for a bit incase it needs a bit of time but to no avail.
In the winter if I want some heat I don't even have to get the temperature that high for it to warm the inside of the car, about 18-20 degrees will do it.

What's wrong with my air-con?

May just need to be re-gassed and cleaned out.

Cool. Was just talking to a guy at work who suggeted the same thing.
Do you know of any places that could do this?

I would reccomend Cool Car in Auckland, I used them down here in Hamilton, great company and really know their stuff.

They will check for leaks and then regas your system youre looking at about

$160 for the regas, oil and dye for future trouble shooting.

Would also reccomend spending an extra $50-$60 and getting a new drier. Moisture in the system is not good.

You should get your aircon serviced every 2 years.

Using it regularly help move the gas (and oil) around the system which keeps the orgins lubricated and stops them from drying out (which causes leaks).
